Our Programs

After School Program:

PSAL’s after school program is located at Rock Creek Elementary School, 3050 Bell Road, Auburn. We offer a quiet and supportive place for homework and loads of space for games, crafts and other fun stuff! PSAL offers Brazilian jiujitsu classes on Mondays and Wednesdays as well. This program is offered to Placer County youth, ages 8-17.

 

Outdoor Adventures:

Hike, paddle, camp, splash, backpack, and adventure outdoors with PSAL. This program is open for Placer County youth ages 13 and up. 

 

Summer Field Trips and Fun:

Join PSAL for a summer of fun outings. All field trips depart and return to our Rock Creek School site. This program has limited space and is first-come-first-served.  Ages 8-17 welcome. 

 

Brazilian Jiujitsu:

PSAL offers Jiujitsu class twice a week during our after school program (4:30-5:30). These classes are offered free of charge for PSAL participants. 

 

Mentorship:

The Placer Sheriff’s Activities League collaborates with the National Police Activities League to present mentorship curriculum and activities to Placer County youth, ages 13-17. The principals of citizenship and mentorship have been integrated into much of PSAL’s programming. 

On Campus School Outreach:

PSAL travels to school campus throughout Placer County to engage with students in fun and meaningful ways.
